Nestled in the heart of Newtown, Connecticut, Newtown Country Club boasts a meticulously maintained 9-hole course that seamlessly blends natural beauty with strategic design. Spanning 2,466 yards, this par-34 layout challenges golfers with its undulating fairways, strategically placed hazards, and fast greens, demanding precision and thoughtful shot selection.
Each hole presents a unique test, from the demanding par-4 second hole stretching 461 yards, to the deceptively challenging par-3 sixth hole at 146 yards. The course’s thoughtful architecture and pristine conditions provide an engaging experience for golfers seeking both challenge and refinement in their game.

Jim St. Pierre
A distinguished PGA Golf Professional, he brings his passion and expertise to Newtown Country Club, where he helps golfers of all skill levels elevate their game. Known for his personalized approach, Jim incorporates cutting-edge visual analysis and innovative teaching tools to create an unparalleled learning experience.
With an impressive career, Jim has served as Assistant Golf Professional at both Redding Country Club and Oronoque Country Club. His accolades include winning the prestigious Connecticut PGA Professional Championship in 2006 and the Connecticut Open in 2002. A three-time recipient of the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game Award (2007, 2008, and 2010), Jim is dedicated to advancing the sport and inspiring players to achieve their full potential.
