Our P.G.A. Pro works with golfers of all ability to improve their skills and enjoyment of the game.
Private Lesson
A 30-minute lesson with our P.G.A. Pro aimed at improving your skills.
Available by appointment.
Playing Lesson
Our P.G.A Pro will take you out on the course to evaluate your game in real-time and assist you in improving your skills. This lesson includes 1 hour of game play and instruction.

Junior Golf Clinic
The Junior Golf Clinic is for children ages 7-14. The Junior Golf Clinic is open to children and grandchildren of members. The Junior Golf Clinic offers children the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the golf swing as well as the rules and etiquette of the game in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Each session will cover a different aspect of the game and will include many fun games and contests.
Meet Jim St. Pierre
Jim St. Pierre is a golf instructor at the Newtown Country Club. He enjoys helping players of all levels attain their goals in the game. Lessons are enhanced with the use of visual analysis and numerous teaching aids. Jim St. Pierre has served as Assistant Golf Professional at Redding County Club and Oronoque Country Club.
He is the 2006 Winner of the Connecticut PGA Professional Championship, as well as the 2002 Winner CT Open. Mr. St. Pierre is the recipient of the 2007, 2008 and 2010 PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game Award.
